Web App of the Week – Ashburton College
Web App of the Week is an award for outstanding users of Accessit Library. It’s a place to recognise nice-looking, useful user interfaces and is somewhere to turn to for inspiration.
Look at what we have this week! Ashburton College has included all of the Web App fundamentals and more in what could easily be described as the most informative dashboard we’ve ever seen!
Ashburton College are really using their Accessit Web App to its fullest. Showcasing study and digital literacy tips, multiple digital content providers as well as supplying quotes, and comprehensive instructions for their borrowers.
When asked what she liked about Accessit Library, Delia Achten, their library manager said:
“Accessit is to librarianship what slices are to bread! Software can be written and modified but relationships need to be worked at; this is what I like most about Accessit. The team at Accessit work hard at their relationships with clients and maintaining a two-way share of information.”

Accessit has helped academic performance at Ashburton College, supporting teaching and learning by providing reading lists, linking to external research providers, supplying scaffold documents as PDFs as well as ensuring there are items of interest front and centre.
