Students
Designed with your students in mind
Today the library is more important than it’s ever been. Students need an accessible, easy to use library system that grows and evolves with changing ages and learning environments.
Students need school libraries
Every student deserves a well-resourced and easily accessible library. The tie between libraries and academic success is well documented. It’s been proven that reading for pleasure is the single most important indicator of a child’s future success. Accessit helps to engage your students in your school library catalogue, supporting them in their reading and discovery.
Supporting research
Students need access to credible online sources at a moment’s notice. Accessit’s One Search enables students to reach curated scholarly material across all your online content providers, in a single search.
Engaging student interface
With an attractive and customisable homepage, and an interactive user experience, your students will love engaging with the online catalogue. They can manage their own library experience and reach everything they need with a single login.
Intelligent searching
Searching with Accessit is varied and inclusive, catering for misspellings, truncations, phonetic spelling, and visual learners – ensuring all your students find the resources they need.
With personalised, individual access to borrower areas, and bright, colourful features like the visual search facility, my library catalogue has never looked better both inside and out! My life is so much easier as a result, the students love it!

Perfect for any age and stage
Accessit offers flexibility and configuration options. Add your own videos, images, animations, carousels, and Twitter feeds to your homepage. This means you can tailor Accessit to meet the needs of all users, from K-12 and above. The Web App is fun and engaging, giving students ownership, and encouraging exploration and interaction.
Driving their own library experience
Accessit Library is designed to be as intuitive and engaging as possible. Students can reserve and renew items, read and write book reviews, view citations, and much more. They can create, save and share lists, encouraging book recommendations and keeping book dialogue alive in the classroom and at home. Each borrower also has their own unique dashboard, where they can view and manage their loans, reserves and overdues, and add their own interests.
Syndetics Unbound integration
Accessit integrates with Proquest’s Syndetics Unbound, adding enriched material to the items in your collection. Students can check out ‘You may also like’ recommendations, more works by the author, further author information, Lexile information, and book reviews.
