New to Accessit or in need of a reminder this is the session for you! Take a quick tour of Accessit with one of our librarians to learn more about daily tasks and tips for shortcuts and handy hints when using Accessit. Come armed with your questions and leave more confident in your use.

Visual Search set up

Join us for a hands-on session to start setting up your Visual Search! You’ll need your laptop and your inspiration!!

If you have specific images you want to use have those ready in a handy folder and go away with one or two sections set up and ready to go!

Not at that stage yet but want to learn more about visual search? – not a worry, This could still be the session for you as you’ll learn more about the process, what’s possible and the best way to get started.

Generifying your library with Accessit tools

Thinking about generifying your library but not sure where to start?  We’ll look at some practical steps to generify your library and the inbuilt tools you can use to make the task simpler. Quick scan, adding a prefix and quickly changing locations all have their part to play.

Advocating for your library

Take a look at ways to use the tools and reports within Accessit to advocate for you and your library. With ever tightening budgets it’s important to let SLT know the value you add to your school or college, engaging students, promoting resources, handling assets and so much more that shouldn’t go unnoticed! Look at ways to embed Accessit across your school or college.

Dashboards – quick tips to add eye-catching content

We’ll take a look at easy ways to ‘pimp your dashboards’! Quick but effective ways to add great visuals, embed newsletters and so much more. Leave with ideas to revive your dashboards quickly and easily.

Reading for Pleasure with Browns Books

Join the team at Browns as they demonstrate how their website and content experts can transform your school’s approach to Reading for Pleasure. Their carefully curated print collections and fully customisable VLeBooks platform make it easy to showcase the latest and most engaging titles.

They’ll run through how their team works with you to select and present the right resources to inspire a love of reading, boost engagement, and build a thriving culture of literacy.

Join them as they dive into tools you can use to embed a rich culture of language that pervades teaching and learning across the curriculum while positioning your library at the heart of the school community.

All Accessit Library customers are welcome to join us on the day! Our sessions are focused on the running of the library and using Accessit, but we will have guest speakers at some events and a range of experts from our team to help with any questions you have from books to the cloud!

So, bring your teacher in charge of the library to talk with one of our support specialists. Invite your business manager to come along as well and see how much value Accessit can bring to your library and your school.
