Accelerated Reader is a subscription-based reading programme provided by Renaissance designed to motivate students to read.
Running Accelerated Reader alongside Accessit Library can be a game-changer for student engagement and literacy development. It can be integrated with Accessit to show which resources in your database are linked to the Accelerated Reader programme, showing the Book level, Points, Quiz number and Interest level for each resource.
How does it work?
Using Accelerated Reader with Accessit Library will make it easier for students to find books in their Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) range and at the right interest level, while also creating a more dynamic and engaging reading experience.
How to get Accelerated Reader
To ensure Accelerated Reader can be integrated with Accessit, the Accelerated Reader add-on must first be purchased as part of your Accessit licence. If the integration is not already part of your licence, please contact [email protected] to enquire about purchasing.
